Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Java Software Engineer at ComData. The Java Software Engineer will be responsible for software development, building and maintaining microservices, utilizing the Spring Framework, and programming in Java. The role is primarily located in Novi Sad, but some remote work is acceptable.
As a Software Engineer, you will work on the entire software development process and the development of various back-end and front-end applications. You support the conception, design and architecture of new software components or upcoming refactoring.
The project we are working on is migration of on-premise application to cloud (vendor independent).
Knowledge of Cloud technologies, Docker, AWS or Azure is a must.
We have two open positions:
- Senior Developer with focus on cloud technologies (proficient in Docker, proficient in AWS or Azure)

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, mathematics or a related field is preferred, or relevant professional experience with qualified technical training
- Mastery of Object-oriented programming (Java)
- Minimum of 3 years of development in Java
- Minimum 2 years of experience with cloud technologies (AWS or Azure, Docker)
- Good knowledge of Spring framework
- Development of high quality code is important to you
- Continuous Integration and Build & Release Management are not foreign words to you
- You like to collaborate with your colleagues toward a common goal
- You are able to grasp complex interrelations and independently develop content
